The Journey of
Gemita Samarra is a 27-year-old stuntwoman, producer, writer, journalist, artist and adventure athlete. Starting out young competing internationally in synchronized swimming and equestrian show jumping, Gemita had a strong foundation to start her career in stunts. Not to mention her love for many other sports such as surfing, climbing, archery, trail running and free diving. She has already appeared in the epic HBO series Game of Thrones as character ‘Brea’ and stunt doubled the Bond girl on 007’s Spectre. Aside from film work, Gemita started a non-profit called My Name is Human- a project focused on working in collaboration with refugees and the homeless on long term, sustainable and self-sufficient solutions for housing, food and water security, mental health resources, education, skills workshops and community spaces.
